You Might Benefit from an Onsite Visit by Our Precision Machine Shop

At Arbiser Machine, our work consists of more than manufacturing parts. The challenges our customers face don't start or end in the precision machine shop, which is why we're proud to be a company of engineers willing to go above and beyond a typical job shop's duties.

Providing this caliber of service often means going onsite, where we can gain a deeper understanding of our customers’ needs to ensure that their parts and their business run as smoothly as possible.

Why It's So Important to Be Onsite

Visiting a customer’s plant or facility allows us to provide more thorough service. Our onsite service area is generally limited to the towns surrounding our Georgia machine shop. But don't hesitate to contact us if you're just outside that area to see if we can work something out.

We recommend onsite visits so we can visualize your complete process and understand how the part or assembly we’re working on fits into it. If a picture is worth a thousand words, seeing the operation in real life is worth about a thousand pictures.

Support We Provide during Onsite Visits

Here’s an overview of the support we provide during onsite visits:

Reverse engineering for parts on the production line

Do you have a legacy part on the production line that needs to be replaced but no way to generate drawings to make a new one? We can help with our reverse engineering services

Halting a production line results in tremendous profit losses, which is the last thing any business needs. We’ll come onsite and take precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and more to get the dimensions we need to reverse engineer the part without removing it from the line.

Maintenance, repair, and operations

Maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) are the actions associated with the upkeep of a plant or manufacturing facility. Experts from our precision machine shop can help with MRO by coming onsite, assessing your needs, and solving a problem in the least disruptive way possible.

Depending on your circumstances, we can manufacture and ship you a part as quickly as possible or help you develop a plan to keep essential parts and documentation on hand.

Expansion

Occasionally, customers want to add a part to a production line to accomplish a new task. We’ll come onsite and take measurements to ensure that the new part fits perfectly in the assembly and functions as intended.

What to Expect during Onsite Visits

When we come onsite for reverse engineering, MRO support, or expansion projects, you can expect us to consult with you in person and gain a deep understanding of the issue you’re experiencing.

If you need parts or drawings, we’ll take the appropriate measurements, send you a CAD file for your approval, and manufacture your parts at our precision machine shop. The price of this work is isolated (billed as a non-recurring engineering (NRE) fee) rather than built into the price per part, which often saves money in the long run.
