  1. Runs unattended. Any manufacturing method capable of running lights-out is worth considering for your high-volume project. EDM machines can run 24/7 without human intervention, allowing for fast production. Even if the wire breaks, the machine will automatically remove it from the part and replace it with a new one to keep production moving seamlessly. 

  2. Cuts multiple parts simultaneously. At Arbiser Machine, we set up our Wire EDM machines to cut up to 50 parts at once, dramatically reducing the time spent per piece from as many as 10 minutes to a few seconds. Imagine cutting 20 parts in a single stack and having 100 stacks set up in the machine to run autonomously.
