Arbiser Machine was established in 1964, but its roots are in Arbiser Foundry, a European company founded in 1886. Sam Arbiser, a native of Warsaw, Poland grew up in a family of metallurgists and machine-builders. His father was a mechanical engineer and the early education in mechanical engineering soon served him well. Sam fled Hitler in 1939, and working as a mechanical engineer found sanctuary as a machine builder for the Russian war effort in Siberia. After the war, Sam returned to Warsaw and found his family and familiar surroundings destroyed and later moved to Israel where he met his wife Pola and became a successful mechanical engineer. Sam and Pola eventually immigrated to the US in the 1960s and they settled in Atlanta, GA. where Arbiser Machine Building Company was born.

Sam who was extremely successful running and overseeing the operations of Arbiser Machine until the late 1990s, often stressed that the key to the company’s longevity was superior craftsmanship and an eye for the details. Customers came to know that when Arbiser Machine was involved, they knew they would have a quality part that exceeded the drawing requirements. His high-quality control standards and engineering foundation continue today to ensure product exceptionalism for each and every shipment.

In 1994, Bill McKlveen started at Arbiser Machine as an engineer and took over as President of the company in 1997. In the years since, Arbiser Machine has invested in the latest CNC equipment and software technology to always improve the exceptional product and outstanding customer experience the company has been delivering for over 59 years.
