Design for Manufacturing

Using cutting-edge software like Solidworks and CAMWorks, Arbiser Machine’s engineers can make recommendations to improve your model’s design for manufacturability.

Manufacturing Process Engineering

Our team has experience leading all design and manufacturing activities, from initial sketches to completed production. We have special expertise in designing and producing groups of parts that function well together for industrial manufacturing processes while being practical and cost-effective to make.

Reverse Engineering

No drawings? No problem. With our state of the art Five-Axis CMM machines, we can scan and make 3D CAD models from your existing part. (2) CMMs and (2) Computer Vision systems can acquire extremely precise measurements that allow us to accurately recreate almost any part. Excellent for OEM part replacement when there is no drawing but a need to save money on high replacement costs from the OEM.

FDM 3D Printing

Our onsite Industrial-Grade 3D Stratasys printing enhances our onsite design and engineering capabilities. During the design process, we can quickly print out parts for customer review before moving into production.

Many times, while maybe not of similar materials to the final desired part, 3D models can identify fit, form, and interact with other parts in an assembly for engineering data. This saves valuable time by saving multiple iterations involving longer process manufacturing methods.

3D printing also allows us to print various fixtures for use in manufacturing and quality control. 3D Printed templates are regularly used to locate production components on our automated CMM machine.

“I appreciate your team on getting the previous order done early and perfectly. We will be actively incorporating the parts onto our applications.”
