Established in 1964, Arbiser Machine provides top tier EDM, CNC related manufacturing services to the metro Atlanta area. The history of Arbiser stretches back even further with Arbiser Foundry, a European based company that was inaugurated in the late 1800’s. Company evolution eventually led Arbiser to the US, where the talented machinist family would set up shop in Atlanta, GA.
Although Arbiser Machine enjoyed singular success with its initial incarnation, heir apparent Sam Arbiser truly put the company on the map. Sam oversaw operations of the family owned company from 1964 to the 1980’s, often stressing that the key to the AM’s longevity would lie in the cultivation of superior craftsmanship as well as mass productivity.
High quality control standards were put into place from the company’s inception and remain today, due to Sam’s insistence on product exceptionalism. Because of this, Sam was able to realize his business goals, growing the company reach beyond GA’s borders into regional and national sales.
Not long after his achievements, Sam would retire and hand the reigns over to Bill McKlveen who, after joining Arbiser Machine in 1994, became President in 1997. Now Arbiser Machine’s current owner, McKlveen continues to man the helm. An established electrical engineer (BSEE) , McKlveen was also a Field Engineer in industrial applications with Square D Company prior to his acquisition of Arbiser.
