Speed

While traditional automated CMMs are an excellent solution for measuring high volumes of parts, their capabilities have diminishing returns when it comes to measuring a single part due to the considerable amount of time it takes to program them. 

With our camera-supported CMM, on the other hand, our engineers can get the measurements they need instantly. We can then take the data, put it in our CAD system, generate a 3D solid model, and press a button to create the code and begin cutting. 

Accuracy

This handheld tool has a free-angle probe that can sense the dimensions of a part from any position. It includes a marker tracking device for high-precision measurements with unrestricted movement with repeatability of ±3 μm. It even has a temperature compensation function to ensure accurate measurements in environments with varying temperatures. 

Portability

Our camera-supported CMM probe is lightweight and portable, meaning it can travel easily to various workstations in our shop for multi axis-machining, wire EDM, and more. In special circumstances, we can also bring it to a customer’s shop when onsite measuring is needed.
